. >> in antioch police arrested a 16-year-old student at deer valley high school for phoning in a half dozen bomb threats made earlier this week. ktvu's ken pritchett spoke with the police chief and is in antioch with what the chief is telling him. ken? >> reporter: a three bomb threats were phoned in this morning to schools. two here at deer valley high school. after the threats were made this morning they arrestea student here on campus who they linked to five bomb threats this week. >> reporter: the bomb threats at deer valley high school may not have been real but he says they were disruptive. >> it has been hectic. everybody has been onagy over -- on edge. >> any call we receive, all the calls are taken seriously. >> reporter: he says the bomb threats were a drain on resources and says the 16-year- old student arrested just after noon today at deer valley high school faces felony charges. >> had the phone number the call came from, we had audio recordings and received information from students at deer valley high school. >> reporter: the chief has high praise for the students who came forwar

in another threat. private security is now patrolling deer valley high school in antioch after three consecutive days of bomb threats. police say two threats were called in and a third to antioch high school across town. parent debbie peterson was on campus when the first call came in. student snapped this photo and added his own caption was everyone was escorted out. >> this is the third day in a row. it's a bit ridiculous but we're also really tired. it's scary for everybody. >> missay they found no explosives and called the threats a hoax. but parents and even some students are not amused. >> it is getting kind of annoying. they are going to add days at the end of the school year. >> may have put the students in danger of missing the instructional units required by the state. >> we will be looking at how we would have to -- if we had to make up those minutes. >> could that mean extra days on the school year? >> possibly. >> reporter: with about 2600 students here, officials confirm they are looking into whether a single student could have been responsible. it could get that person
